HEPA Filtration

HEPA stands for high efficiency particulate air. A true HEPA filter removes at least 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns in size, which covers most mold spores, dust, and fine construction debris. Restoration crews use HEPA-filtered vacuums and air scrubbers on mold and fire jobs because ordinary filters let these small particles pass through.
