Moisture Mapping

Moisture mapping is the practice of testing and recording moisture levels at multiple points across a wet structure, then marking those readings on a sketch or floor plan. A technician repeats the readings over the course of the drying job and compares them to a dry standard, meaning the moisture level of unaffected material in the same building. This record shows whether the drying equipment is working and gives a documented point where the technician can call the structure dry.
