Water Category 1 (Clean Water)

Category 1 water starts out clean. It comes from a source such as a supply line, a sink overflow, or rainwater, and it carries no waste or major contamination at the point it enters a building. Clean water can still cause real damage to floors, drywall, and framing, and it can turn into a higher category if it sits too long or mixes with dirty surfaces.
